Publication Agreement & Contributor Rights

By submitting work to The Khaotic Good™, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Copyright

Contributors retain full copyright ownership of their work at all times.

Submission does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property to The Khaotic Good™.

 

Publishing License

If your work is accepted, you grant The Khaotic Good™ a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

  • publish your work in print and digital editions of the magazine;

  • include your work in future magazine archives;

  • display your work on The Khaotic Good™ website;

  • use excerpts, images, titles, or contributor information to promote the magazine through social media, newsletters, marketing materials, interviews, and other promotional content;

  • preserve published issues as part of the permanent publication archive.

This license allows The Khaotic Good™ to continue distributing previously published issues indefinitely.

 

Editorial Rights

The Khaotic Good™ reserves the right to:

  • accept or decline any submission;

  • determine final publication decisions;

  • determine issue placement;

  • determine publication order;

  • edit for spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, typography, and layout;

  • request revisions when appropriate;

  • decline publication after acceptance if circumstances require.

Substantial editorial changes will be discussed with contributors whenever reasonably possible.

 

Editorial Discretion

Acceptance is based solely on editorial merit, thematic fit, available space, and the overall vision for each issue. Payment tier has no influence over publication decisions.

Editorial decisions are final.

 

Visual Artwork

Contributors submitting artwork or photography confirm that they own all copyrights and permissions necessary for publication.

The Khaotic Good™ assumes no responsibility for copyright infringement resulting from materials submitted without proper authorization.

 

Contributor Responsibility

By submitting, contributors affirm that:

  • the work is original

  • they own all rights to the submission

  • the submission does not infringe upon the rights of another individual or organization;

  • all information provided is accurate.

 

Promotion

Accepted contributors may share their published pages, excerpts, and links to the magazine while providing appropriate credit to The Khaotic Good™.

The complete magazine: including its design, layout, branding, compilation, and editorial presentation; remains the intellectual property of The Khaotic Good™ and may not be reproduced, republished, redistributed, or reformatted without prior written permission.

 

Response Times

Every submission receives individual editorial review.

Response times may vary depending on submission volume and production schedules.

Priority review is available through paid submission options; however, expedited review does not guarantee acceptance.
